Learn More About Our Work And Our Cultural Activities

We use developmentally appropriate practices to help your child grow socially, emotionally, cognitively, physically, and spiritually. Your child will have opportunities for both structured and non-structured activities which are age appropriate. They will learn and grow through play and exploration.

We have small classes of no more than 20, staffed by a class teacher and a shared assistant. Our safe, secure, and beautiful facility provides the perfect atmosphere for pupils to learn, play, and develop the skills and confidence in preparation for Grade 1 and beyond.

Lessons for the age of 3 to 6 (RRR-R), Kleintjieland computer classes with some fun activities and completed examples, progressively structured for outcomes-based classes, taught by a qualified computer teacher. Kleintjieland makes Grade R to RRR learners comfortable and confident with computer equipment and software, while showing them many exciting possibilities and encouraging their creativity.

Positive classroom environments, where children feel physically and psychologically safe, allow children to perform academically and socially at higher levels. Being physically safe in a classroom is readily obvious when the environment is free of unnecessary clutter and hazards such as chemicals or broken glass or some other environmental hazard. To be psychologically safe, however, children must be able to perform without fear of being belittled or harassed by their classmates or their teachers. They need to feel as if they belong in the classroom with their peers, and that they have social value, or relevance.
